My Mom's Green Juice
My mom, a strong believer in the natural wellness benefits of fruits and vegetables, created this blend using whole, nutrient-rich foods. This green juice contains spinach, kale, celery, and ginger—ingredients that, when consumed raw, provide high levels of essential nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium, vitamin K, and magnesium. Many green foods and whole grains also contain choline and niacin (vitamin B3), which support digestion, help maintain energy levels, and contribute to healthy skin.
Her Recipe:
2 - 4 cups raw Kale
2 large Green apples
1 - 2 cups Baby spinach (optional)
1 - 2 cups of Cucumber
1 - 2 stalks of Celery
Juice from (1) lemon, squeezed
1 finger of Ginger (more or less, for spiciness)
16oz of filtered water (or more)
1 tbs of Natural sweetener (optional)
Add to Blender (or juicer)
Strain, chill, then serve
Makes about 2 large servings (20 oz)/ea

- Add 2-3 Kiwis for extra juice and boost of Vitamin C
